Patrizia Gaio
Acupuncturist & Tui na Practitioner
Patrizia’s journey in the healing arts began about two decades ago with the practice of Qi Gong. As her passion deepened, she went on to complete a three-year diploma in Chinese Medicine at Xian Tian College, graduating as a fully qualified practitioner. Her qualifications include Acupuncture, Tuina, Moxibustion, Gua Sha, and Cupping. She later pursued advanced Tuina studies with Sarah Pritchard, further refining her sensitivity and therapeutic skill through the art of hands-on healing.
Guided by a profound interest in Classical Chinese Medicine, Patrizia deepened her practice with Ann Cecil-Sterman. This training has allowed her to offer more expansive and effective treatments for a variety of conditions, including chronic and degenerative illnesses, hormonal and emotional imbalances, and musculoskeletal issues—each impacting core aspects of health such as sleep, digestion, fertility, and movement.
Chinese medicine takes a holistic view of health, and Patrizia’s clinical sessions are complemented by personalized dietary guidance and simple at-home exercises. These practices are designed to support ongoing treatment, foster healthy habits, and encourage active participation in the healing process. Patrizia is dedicated to finding practical, individualized strategies that meet each person’s unique needs—and has witnessed remarkable transformations in her clients through consistent, collaborative work.
The primary goal of this medicine is to treat the individual as a whole, rather than just addressing their symptoms. True healing begins with seeing beyond the symptoms to the person behind them. Each sign and symptom in the body reflects a life’s journey—its joys, traumas, and turning points. Patrizia approaches healing with this understanding, exploring how personal history and inner life contribute to one’s present health.
